Athletics & Recreation
We dare you to find a school with a more active student body. From competitive athletes to thrill-seeking skiers to leisurely hikers, CC students run the recreational gamut. Whatever your skill level, athletic interest, or outdoor pursuit, you're likely to find it here.
Want to Compete?
Dive into varsity athletics, dip into club sports, or just slip on your tennis shoes, grab a broom, and prepare for a few spills on the broomball ice (a quirky CC intramural favorite - no skates or skills required)!
Looking to work out?
Visit the Adam F. Press Fitness Center to access over 55 pieces of aerobic equipment, a TRX station, a medicine ball training wall and more! The lower level focuses on strength with a variety of machines, free weights, kettlebells, and half rack/platforms. Other offerings include group classes, 1-on-1 fitness consultations, and individualized programming.
Make the Mountains Your Playground
Feeling ambitious? Get your heart pumping outdoors. Hike up the Manitou Incline, shred back-country powder, or scale one of Colorado's 54 "Fourteeners" (peaks over 14,000 feet). Fancy a gentler pace? Stroll through Garden of the Gods Park or spend an ORC weekend soaking in Colorado's bubbling hot springs. Welcome to the heart of the Rockies!
More of a Spectator?
Join the roaring stands of gold-and-black-clad students and Colorado Springs locals to cheer on Tiger Hockey at the Ed Robson Arena. Relax on the grassy hills aside Stewart Field and let our DI Women's Soccer team compete with a staggering view of Pikes Peak for your attention.
